brandon lyon?

hes available as a free agent-he must have slipped on everyone.

my league counts holds...so with that in mind here are my pitchers:

Haren
Oswalt
Wainwright
Garza
Lilly
Meche

F. Cordero
Hoffman
Motte
Wheeler

Dan Wheeler is my only holds option right now-unless Motte becomes a setup guy and Perez is named closer.

Should I drop somebody for Lyon?

i was thinking either Mech or Wheeler.

Thoughts?

He is now the Tigers closer for now, so he will not be doing much for you in the hold category.......unless he gets demoted. Also, he has not been impressive this ST.....He gave up 4 straight homers the other day.

You dont have Zumaya, or maybe Fernando Rodney available do you? Rodney can be shaky, but Zumaya will get you some holds when he is healthy.

i was actually lookin at lyon as a closer. with motte still a ? and now hoffman injured and expected to miss the first week or so im only left with cordero as a sure fire closer. holds guys are a dime a dozen. i could always pick them up along the way.
