Ok, the guy who has Utley is not happy with his team and wants to make some moves. I was thinking of offering him Hamels for Utley. Not sure if he would take it, what if I through in Aviles? do you think this would be a good offer? Or should I stay put for now.
Notable guys he has: Sizemore, V Martinez, Peavy, Harden
12 team, h2h, 3 man keeper
Scoring: H, 2, 3, hr, R, RBi, BB, Ave. OBP, SB, SO, E W, L, CG, SHO, SO, BB, HR, ERA, WHIP, SV, BSV
My team: C: B Molina 1st: Teixeira, Votto, Butler 2nd: Aviles (2,SS) 3rd: Wright, ARod, Reynolds SS: JJ Hardy OF: Bay, Hart, Kemp, SP: Hamel, Haren, Cain, Harang, Slowey, Danks RP: Motte, Devile, Bell
Really don't think that will be enough to pry Utley from him. Aviles is high on lot of people's lists but he'd basically be paying full value for that upside.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
I'd try Hamels/Aviles for Utley, but I think you'll fall short of getting him, especially when there's optimism Utley will return for Opening Day without a hitch.
