Considering Adding Motte, Ray...

[Slayer Rules]

I'm feeling antsy for a few reasons:

1st - Motte and Ray are still available and it's just a matter of time before they get scooped up.

2nd - Hoffman (who's already hurting) and Percival are too old to rely on - but too valuable to just drop.

3rd - Corpas hasn't locked down the closer role for Colorado yet - and besides that his ratios aren't stellar. If it turns out that Street wins the job I could be left holding the bag and possibly missing out on Motte and Ray.

Would any of you drop both Weeks and Corpas to pick these two up?

What's kept me from doing so up to now?

1. Like Corpas, Motte hasn't locked down the job yet either. Also - I'd be willingly stepping into "TLR Closer Hell".
2. Ray's coming off major surgery and would be on the shelf for a little while.

The reason I'm seriously considering it is that both of these pitchers arguably have superior stuff to my current stable of closers....

I would drop Weeks for Ray or Motte Ray more so he is worth the gamble in my eye. Motte would be nice too but I dont know who you would drop for him.

I'd cut Weeks for Ray as well. I think Ray will be closing as soon as the O's establish that he's fully healthy.
