Here is some practice for ya! I know that the Cafe has its own Top 50 Prosepcts, but in my keeper league, several of those best players have been taken. Also, there are a few "Free Agents" that are also available in my league, which makes things a bit more interesting. I'd be interested to know what you knowledgable Cafe folks think of the relative value (ranking say, the Top 20 you'd pick) of these available players, which are mostly Minor Leaguers, College, and a few MLB'ers, in no particular order:

Um, I'm all about helping people but this is a bit silly. You list 60+ players and just want a ranking of all of them... college guys, minor leaguers, and some major leaguers? I really can't give any advice unless you say in what context I'm ranking and why all these guys are lumped together .... not to much if you are trying to win now .. what needs you have. Basically you need to give us much more to go on.

Fair enough, Hybrid. This is my first Fantasy Cafe post, so I am still learning the ropes, and I apologize. I'd even delete the post, but don't know how.

My intention was to guage which players other keeper leaguers would deem the most valuable if they had the same specific pool of players to choose from. (BTW, I have my own ranking prepared, but was just curious what other die hards think. I just didn't want to share my thoughts until others weighed in). I thought that other keeper leaguers might have similar pools for their draft, since many teams would not own Ricky Nolasco (breakout) or Josh Johnson (injury) or similar players.

My league is very unique -- a homemade league, basically -- but is probably most comparable to a 12 team, 5x5, keeper league. I will be in contention this year, so I am mostly thinking about TRADE VALUE. Who will be the most valuable trade chips come August? But of course, if I can pick up a player that can actually help me contend in 2009, I will do that.
