Just gonna point out the biggest problem you have is your pitching. Guys like Dice-K, Bedard, Cueto and Vazquez are gonna crush your era and whip. Your relief pitching also is shaky.
If you are going to trade David Ortiz don't do it for Harden. He's to unreliable and injury prone. I'd much rather go for someone like James Sheilds or Oswalt.
You are also gonna need a catcher for the first month or two of the season.
I see your team finishing in the middle of your league
I don't like your team at all. But then again I'm brand new to fantasy baseball so don't pay much attention to me. Post the best available free agents.
I agree a middle of the league finish, that pitching is so so, and Harden won't make it better, with how much he gets hurt, you could easily get a Oswalt/Shields type for Ortiz, and on waivers Maholm, and Kuroda will help with WHIP and ERA, I would Hanson and Percival for them
I dropped Span for Dioner Navarro, until Wieters comes back then and drop Navarro for a pitcher probably
Hanson was dropped in the trade for Wellemeyer and Harden.
I think Harden will be a Top 10 starter but that's my prediction. Dice-K's whip has never hurt me before his W's and Javier Vazquez brings the K's, it's a nice combo. I can bring down my WHIP with RP's. I'm extremely active when it comes to fantasy so I'm expecting to improve upon this team throughout the season.
just saw Lindstrom was dropped as well as Elijah Dukes. I have No. 1 Waiver and am considering dropping Wellemeyer for Lindstrom. I have a bunch of RP's but they always hold some value as long as they close and I can always find and up and comer SP during the season.
ok I was up late last night and made a few moves, hope I won't regret, this is how my team looks as of today:
