Pickup Harang, Meche, Buehrle?

Postby sox 06 » Wed Mar 25, 2009 4:12 pm

Should I add a SP to my team or just stand pat? Harang and Buehrle are currently on waivers and Meche is a free agent.

we have similar teams. i think meche and drop a bat. not big on hank, but i think you need a SP. meche had a bad month, but otherwise, not a bad pickup.

Personally I would drop Glaus and Blalock for Harang and Meche.

I always prefer to use my bench spots on pitchers rather than bats with little to no upside to start the year. If Harang gets back to his old self again he will be a very solid pickup. Meche will provide solid K's and decent ratios.

Glaus and Blalock......meh

Chances are you can find them or something similar on the wire when you need them.

agreed with this... i don't think blalock deserves a roster spot, givin his past hes not gonna last (people predicting 25hr/75 rbi is just flat out ridiculously insane) and glaus has had his fair share of injuries also... and like Guzman said you can most likely pick up guys later in the season that cover the stats they produce anyways... get harang and meche tho...

help me out...

Thanks for the help. It looks like I'll be adding Harang (if he clears waivers) and Meche for Glaus/Blalock ;-D
