Might be a long season for the Halos. Ervin's season looks pretty gloomy as well, Escobar won't be back for at least a month and Saunders will probably come back to earth. Weaver is also an injury risk.

Wonder if this injury coupled with the poor start will do anything to his ADP? It will seem to cut off any chance of reaching a long term deal with the Angels in the meantime...

As long as you are smart about drafting pitchers and only take them 2 rounds after their expected draft position this type ofthingis no big deal. You never ever draft SP, RP or C at value if you understand fantasy baseball at all. Those positions are for suckers early in drafts.

Don't really understand why people rated him so high coming into this year.

Why all the doomsday talk? It says he might miss opening day.... it's not like he's out for a month or anything.
And his second half looks much worse because he got bombed and let up 10 runs in 2 innings in his last regular season start of the year.

The history of these things is that "elbow tighness" and missing one start often turns out to be much more serious. On the plus, side the Angels have a pretty good histroy of transparency with injuries (if this was Toronto, for example, I would be very alarmed).
