Keep Utley and Hamels, don't keep Ichiro. He's offense is anemic, he won't score as much as a result. He's getting older. He has gotten slower, his bat speed isn't what it once was. Ichiro will only be fantasy relevant for a few more years, tops.
I take Utley...you've already got a #1 in Santana. Why do you need another #1? Lackey, Felix, etc. are excellent #2's (you don't want them as a #1 if you can help it, but they are more than qualified to be #2's). Utley gives you a huge increase over Roberts or Uggla. He'll hit for a higher average with more steals than Uggla. He'll hit more homeruns, have more RBI's, and probably more runs than Roberts. To me, with Santana, it is a no-brainer to take Utley. If you didn't have Santana, then maybe you could talk me into Hamels....
Lackey, Felix, or Liriano are great #2s and are likely to be my #1s in H2H. Another vote for Utley.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

As for trading for Johan, he already has him. Why would he trade for him?
didnt go back to see who his keepers were. oops. i answered this awhile ago but he obviously is looking for people to back up his desire to draft hamels. but you get the point. draft utley and trade him for a pitcher better than hamels

Agree. If he wants Hamels so badly, he might be able to draft Utley and then trade him for Hamels and one other player, or maybe even get Lincecum for Utley. To me, Hamels has an injury history, even if this present injury isn't so bad. I wouldn't take a chance on him when I know I can get a hitter that will produce.
