I drafted Rickie Weeks this year due to upside alone, I got him in the 14th round of a 14 team league so it isnt like I reached on him. I dont see why he cant hit .260 20/20, That is totally realistic and he isnt having a bad spring by any means. We all know he can hit .235 and kill your team average but there is some upside there. And who knows? This could be the year he puts it all together, he does have the talent to hit 30/30. Another year of experience should only help his plate discipline...I wouldnt write him off.
To be fair he fits the mold of the post hype breakout perfectly. Brought up too early, slowed by injuries, showed erratic but inconsistent skills, still the starter on the team, batting in a good position in the lineup, no strong competition to chip away at playtime.
This is the perfect post hype sleeper along with Howie Kendrick another 2B. I predict one of the 2 breaks out and the other is almost not drafted next year. I just don't know which is which yet~.

I just cant see Howie Kendrick close to not being drafted next season...

If he puts up another year like the last 2? Minimal power, minimal speed, erratic playtime? I mean seriously Kendrick has been worthless the last 2 years in most leagues.

But the potential will still be there...as long as he has a starting spot, I will take a gamble on him.
