I would go with the pitching. Escobar will start the season on the DL so get him and DL him as soon as possible. Also I would try to trade either Gonzales, Fielder or Holliday for a top pitcher.

How about dropping Guillen and picking up Escobar?

Tight roster?
Guillan is the only guy you can drop if I understand correctly?
The only thing I'd consider is dropping him for Adam Jones to give you some backup at the OF position. Of course, if you have two DL slots, I'd drop pick up Escobar and put him on DL before picking up Jones.

Otherwise, the only guy I don't like much is Cano. What 2Bs are on FA?
