Do I need pitchng help for my 10 team league???

Postby gtvisa » Wed Mar 25, 2009 12:28 am

5X5 roto league with standard categories. 1500 inning max. I went hitter heavy in the early rounds and ended up with the following pitching staff. Should I be concerned, or is what I have sufficient to compete in all categories?

josh Beckett
Roy Oswalt
Yovani Gallardo
Javier Vasquez
Ted Lilly
Kevin Slowey
Matt Capps
Brian Wilson
Heath Bell
Brandon Lyon
Chad Qualls

I really think your pitching looks pretty good. I would probably have to see other teams pitchers to really judge because i am not that familiar with a 10 team league.

As for as starters, oswalt and beckett are 2 aces. I am very high on Gallardo. I think he could be a stud this year. slowey is aslo a guy that should have a great whip and era.

Your relievers dont have any studs but capps will post good numbers IF he gets the chances. I think bell and qualls should be solid. i have lyon on one of my teams and it is mostly just cause i need saves. he should get a lot like todd jones did but his era and whip will not be very good.
