Looking for CBS Auction Draft 5x5

$50 plus CBS is fine, but we should do keeper. Redraft Auctions are horrible. There is much less strategy. You want to get low salaries on certain players so you can keep them next year. I say keeper. Not to mention trades have much more meaning when you are out of it just like in MLB.

The problem with a keeper at this point is that I would assume the vast majority of us here have already completed the bulk of our leagues. If not, we're already scheduled to draft very soon. Adding a keeper league at this point means a diferent type of committment on the part of owners here. When jumping into a league I don't really know anybody, I personally prefer to play a single season as a kind of 'test' to feel the other owners out, what their participation levels are, make sure the comish is 'legit', etc. Once those things are established, then it make sense to talk about a keeper league and the chances of it going on strong are *much* improved...

Agreed, if it is a keeper, I will jump out, as I am not interested in that at all.................current year auctions are fine. Plus, keeper leagues fall apart and then you have to find a bunch of owners to pick up teams from the prior year. Redrafts/ReAuctions are nice and clean, nobody obligated for the following year.

we're going to stick with a re-draft for this season. as for the buy-in, would people be more comfortable with a $100 buy-in if we were to do the payments through LeagueSafe? I'd like to hear some opinions on this.

I could be interested too especially if it is definitely an auction head to head on Saturday morning or early afternoon. $50 to $75 sounds ideal with good payouts for 1st-3rd and maybe money for division winners as well! You can contact me at cjgarrett@sbcglobal.net.
