Looking for CBS Auction Draft 5x5

Postby Rapps5 » Tue Mar 24, 2009 11:08 pm

I'm looking for a mixed 5x5 CBS league with an auction draft. Buy-in around $100 is preferable, but I'd consider something bigger or smaller. please contact me at sigmahigh@gmail.com immediately if you have any openings. thanks.

I too am looking for something very similiar to what this guy is looking for.. something that drafts either Saturday or Sunday... Auction style, less than $100.. CBS league... Mixed... 12+ teams... Roto or H2H is fine...

I am looking for the same as well, but it would have to be Sunday or Monday night. I am in NY. I prefer not a mix league, but will if it is last resort. If enough get on this thread, we should create a league. I would love to be the commish as I have plenty of experience, unfortunately not the time.

Thanks

Well, we seem to be on to something here. A Sunday draft is perfectly fine with me. I'd be happy to co-comish the league or run it as I run 3 other CBS leagues....

Mandatories for me are...
- Must be on CBS (easier to manage multiple leagues for me)
- Must be 12 or more teams, probably no more than 15
- Must be a fairly deep league, 2 catchers, 5 OF's, 9 Pitchers...
- Must be mixed AL & NL players.
- Must be a $100 or less league, I'm already commited to higher dollar leagues, this ideally would be a $50 - $75 league.

Optional, but preferences..
- Auction is preferred, snake would be 'ok'
- Draft this weekend between tomorrow night and Sunday mid-day.
- Very much prefer to keep standard scoring categories in a typical 5x5 format.
- prefer roto, but H2H is fine. Ideal maybe is a H2H league with Roto Scoring against the opponent (I've done this a few times and it works great).
- I prefer to aquire players via a Free Agent Bidding System with dollar values, but using waivers and free agents is 'ok'.

If we think we can drum up 12+ teams, I'm game and can do my part to help get this off the ground.... Let's post contact info here, and keep the thread moving.. Paypal will probably be required to get everybody paid quickly as we obviously don't have much time..

I am all for it, but I only am interested in auction. $50-$100 is fine and at least 12 teams. I will not be available until at least late afternoon on Sunday. So later on Sunday and Monday night are perfect for me.

What time zone are you in? East Coaster can have a hard time with Sunday night.. I couldn't start it any earlier than about 5:30pm PST Sunday night....
