I could certainly improve at SS. Got caught on a bad run and had Peralta sniped right as I was poised to take him, so I was left with either Tejada or just waiting until the end and grabbing Theriot or Cabrera, but someone reached on Theriot. I feel like once A-Rod comes back I have a really solid team, but I think I may struggle a bit early. I sort of want a better late round sleeper than Snider, so I'm all ears. All the ones I was targeting got snapped up.
Don't really have any criticisms. Arod at the end of the 4th rd is a steal in H2H.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
I think you have a nice little team there. I like that you have Wieters waiting in the wings because he will be HUGE if you wait it out. Sandoval is a more than adequate place holder. You have a good combination of speed and youth with some old vets (Dunn, Holliday, Damon) that will lead to consistency. I think your one big weakness might be SP. I might be biased because I am not big on Beckett this year, but after him you have filled most of your pitching staff with RP. Are there any unheralded starters left out there (Ubaldo Jimenez or something) that you could snag up? Hope this helps. Help me out if you get the chance, I am on the page somewhere.
So your main issues:
SS and SP I would say. But i love your C situation and your RP situation. Should be a top 3 team.
I have 5 SP - Haren, Beckett, Chris R Young, Ted Lilly, and Kenshin Kawakami. Not great. Had Gallardo and Volquez taken right before me so that would have helped. I don't think my SP is fantastic but it's at least solid. And SP is easy to fill in with guys. Last year in this same league I grabbed Volquez.
I think I'm going to have some crappy roster decisions once A-Rod comes back and Wieters gets called up. But there are worse issues

I agree. I really like this team. SS is obviously the one place you can improve but I think the rest of your offense can definitely make up for whatever shortcomings O-Cab has. I really can't find much else wrong with this team. Very nice job.
Good team doubt you will win avg, but overall a nice team, other sleepes in OF Adam Lind (projects .280 25-30 hrs), Adam Jones (.280 15 hrs 25sbs), Shin-Soo Choo (.300+ avg 15hrs 10sbs)
Adam Jones was drafted. Most of the obvious sleepers were grabbed. Carlos Gomez is out there, thinking of switching out Snider for him possibly.
Funny thing is I went into this draft, not wanting A-Rod, but knowing if he fell to the 4th round I'd HAVE to take him. And he was still there for me, and I just couldn't pass on him there.
Maybe he was all steroids all along and he'll be terrible this year. Even if it's true, all I lost was my utility player.
