What do you think about taking Giles in the third round? (assuming he is there for me)
Personally, I think he is a good candidate for a big bounce back year. Just wondering what you think about taking him with this pick, #32 overall (12 team league 5x5 league)
I will probably have Helton and Magglio/Sheffield in rounds 1 and 2.
I think that's WAYY too early. I have Brian Giles in two leagues. In one I got him in the 7th, in the other I got him in the late 6th.
I do agree that he will bounce back this year - just don't jump the gun.

I'd wait until at least the 4th. I've seen him taken in the 5th once in my 3 drafts, but never later.

I'd wait until the 4th. Berkman is anopther solid bounce back candidate usually available in the 4th. 3rd round is a good time to think about a SP if you don't have one, maybe Chavez, Rolen or Tejada and Renteria have been there in a few drafts, but there are some decent 3B and SS candidates later.
You need a staff ace to build on. Take one in round 3 is my advice. Vazquez if he is there, Wood or some other high K SP.

I got him in the 6th in my draft (12 team) and was very happy with that, a lot of people are marking him down from what I've seen this year, so I'd expect him to be there in the 5th in quite a few leagues, 3rd is definitely too early.

I like Giles. Sure, it could be a little early, but I would rather be a little early to make sure he is on my roster. You know what you are getting (worst case scenrio) and could develop into a great situation in SDG (best case scenrio).
I got Giles in the 6th (autodraft) and I'm hoping to be able to pick him near there in my live draft in 10 days. Which if anyone was interested in getting into, let me know asap.
