Zimmerman. Stay away from Pirates pitching. The nats have improved. The Pirates have not.

thanks for all the help thus far. Below is my Pitching staff:

SP: Hamels, Haren, Verlander, Harang, Meche, Maholm/Zimmerman

let me know if that makes any difference

Should Maholm be taken in a 10 team mixed leauge? Each team takes 6 pitchers

I think Maholm looks better in that Line Up, especially with Harang and Verlander, but pitching prospects no matter how they do in spring tend to disappoint me

Ok, now that I've actually looked at Maholm, I can say he is pretty good. Dude had 19 quality starts last year. Impressive along with a decent ERA and k/9. GO with Maholm.

With that said I would take the upside(though its not as high as some people think) with Zimmermann here...Maholm has little to no upside and you can get his production off of waivers/fa most of the time.

What do you mean, Paul Maholm outproduced THE Carlos Zambrano last year. ;-7
