Im begining to think so, both have barely 10 AB's each the whole Spring Training and have been out for quite a while now (2 weeks). With a handful of ST games left I don't think they are ready with such little AB's over the last month. I would not be surprised if both or at least one begining the season on the DL, they are just not ready playing such little time over the last month.

Yea, I'm bummed about drafting Atkins. I wish I would have paid closer attention. I'm tempted to pick up Melvin Mora or Hank Blalock now in case he's doesn't start the season.

You and me both man. Luckily I was able to grab Reynolds at 218.

Yea, just finished a 14 team draft and I grabbed Atkins as my starting 3rd. No back-ups on the team, so I took a look at the WW. Here are some that might do an adequate job of keeping your 3B seat warm if Atkins goes on the DL;
Joe Crede - starting job in Minn and shouldn't have any health issues to start the year
Russel Branyan - Having a great spring, just hope it carries into the first couple weeks of the season
Andy LaRoche - Doesn't seem possible he can hit as badly as he did last year, should put up ok numbers
Craig Counsell - Could provide a high.. just kidding, Craig Counsell is never the answer
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike
