10 team

H2H

KEEPER LEAGUE

STATS

Innings pitched, Wins, K's, Saves, Holds, ERA, WHIP, K/9, Quality starts, Complete games

Runs, Hits, Hr's, Rbi's, Sb's, Avg, Ops, Xtra base hits

My

Volquez and Derek Lee

for

His

Hamels and Cory Hart

I know Hamels and his elbow injury is scary, but I think he'll be fine. Was this too risky or did I win? I am also a Huge Phillies fan (obvious, yes) and I've got Ryan Howard and Miguel Cabrera who can play 1st.

with howard and miggy... i'd say it was safe to take that gamble on hamels.... you never know with injured pitchers, but the price you paid will not hurt you all that badly. Infact, I think I'd make that deal if I were you. Lee and Hart are pretty much a wash at this point... and the upside of hamels is nutty as you well know.

look at mine?

Thanks for my help!

I like it... Hamels is a risk especially when you have IP as a stat. But Hart is an upgrade over Lee I think. Good!

Very smart move, I have Hamels this year as well and I think he will be fine! Cory Hart is a nice addition to your lineup and I think he is an underrated player who will be an upgrade from Derek Lee whose stock is definately falling. Volquez is an uproven pitcher who could easily have an "off" year.

Id say Lee is almost a toss in given the other guys you have to fill the spot, I like Hart's 20-20 status, but his average is tough to take at times and he is streaky. The thing I like about the trade is you're getting the best player in Hamels. Volquez like Hamels has alot of upside, but Id say that you will be patting yourself on the back for this one come July....

I think volquez is overrated(even though he did put up great numbers last year) hamels injury is not serious and hes polished....Lee's production is 20/80/.290 Hart is 20/20 and in a good lineup you made out well my freind......

i am a huge volquez fan, but i would have made this trade.

Just traded BButler, BWood & JLoney for Mark Teixeira, Ryan Theriot & Renyel Pinto in a DYNASTY LEAGUE. Big gamble I know!

The Hamels side by a mile in my eyes. Lee's power won't get back to the one MVP caliber season. Volquez is good, but not as good as Hamels I think.

Hart > Lee
Hamels > Volquez
