I know I punted a bit on pitching, and 3 players could kill my average, I tried to go in with a power speed combo. 6 possibly 8 20+stolen base threats and 5-7 30+ homer threats. I also think my SP staff should hols their own.

Rock Solid pitching, and a good mix of 5 tool players and "Big Bats"


I'd go for Dunn for Pence type trades...you don't need HRs at the expense of Avg, Hits, singles, and doubles...

Ah, you gotta love the 8 team leagues! I would assume just about every team is loaded. Yours certainly is.

You seem to think that you slightly punted with pitching but you have J. Santana, Halladay, and Lackey anchoring your rotation with some decent depth guys behind them. Should be fine.

With this kind of a roster it's pretty much nitpicking to find fault with it. I understand the slight concern with AVG. You don't have much in the way of .300 hitters and have guys like Dunn and Davis who could pull you down a bit (I have a similar situation). With the speed/power combo guys you have, though, I think you'll easily be able to overcome a slight deficiency in AVG.

I wish I could find something else to suggest. I don't love Michael Young as your SS but unless you try to deal for one of the 3 first round studs at the position you're probably not going to be able to hugely upgrade.

Any answers on who I should shop with Burrell, Dunn or Pena? Votto is my Current 1b so Dunn/Pena are on my UTIL.

Garza and Werth for CC? Wow. That's a gift.

Dunn has the highest trade value, I'd think, if someone thinks their lineup lacks power and are looking for a HR guy. He is OF eligible too, which may be a reason for you to keep him (but also a reason someone might want him). You can afford to part with him but I'd try other options first.

I think maybe if there is someone who is lacking a bit at 1B you might be able to sell them on Pena. He's probably the guy I'd try to move because I can't imagine Burell has much value in an 8 team league.

I would shop Dunn...Lots of usefulness for someone who needs 35 HRs and it will help remove your avg issue..THe CC trade is a joke...but hey....you'll be the one laughing.....There should be guys better than Werth and Garza on the waiver lines....Good solid team....You might trade some offensive depth for another middle tier closer...

Looks good overall to me. Your pitching staff is pretty loaded, and you have excellent speed. I would agree with trying to shop Dunn, he has power but also lacks in many other categories. I think your team could improve if you make the right move with him.
