I'm usually a high stakes fantasy basketball player, but there was some good money involved in this baseball league, so I decided to join it.

Just wanted to get your thoughts. Large number of positions. I went with the strategy of heavy hitting, pitching is suspect and a little risky.
H2H 12 team league with these categories: R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, W, L, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, NH

Looks like you have a competive team. Pitching is not as bad as you think.

Looks pretty solid. Wait it out and see how the first 6 weeks go. If theres a big hole in your team you'll see it by then.

The hitting looks good, and you actually took a good strategy with pitching. Nolasco is an ace. Volquez should be much improved over his pitching down the stretch, and Sanchez should be significantly better in 09.

I agree with the others - for a 12 teamer, your team looks very competitive. Offense looks strong (could use a little more speed in your starting lineup to keep up on SB). Pitching is stronger than you think. I'd consider adding one more RP as your extra starting P to have a better shot at winning saves. If no closers are available, watch the Closers thread in Leftovers here for tips on vulturing saves with closer moves. Otherwise, just enjoy the first few weeks and see where your weaknesses are (and where you are so strong, you can afford to trade from strength). Enjoy and good luck!
