Are there really no closer-by-committee guys available? You are sitting on 3 middle relievers (although Balfour will probably get a few saves). But Gregg, Corpas, Devine, Ziegler, Motte, Lyon, Rodney, Aardsma, Ray are all gone? Picking up any of those guys is low risk and huge if they get the job. You can drop them early if they don't pan out for whoever fills in and starts getting some saves early. If all of those guys really are gone, you might do well to offer a late round hitter for a late round closer who has the job locked up (Bell, Wilson, Hanrahan) and see if you can get someone to bite.

All but Aardsma and Rodney are gone....Of course then you have Villenueva if Hoffman can't go.....Which do you feel is the best option??
I think if it is a H2H league, punting saves is fine. If you go this route, look for guys who have RP elligibility and are starters. You could get some much needed W, K, and K/BB. I was debating punting saves myself but a few guys fell to me. If you are in ROT league, make a trade just to try and get a few save points so as not to kill your team.
So-so. Your relievers will hurt you early in the season. I think you grabbed a couple guys too early (Huff, McLouth jump out). Keep your eye out for closers and don't be afraid to churn those last couple spots on the roster.

I would try to get at least one closer, and Huff would get a decent, i would trade him before he falls apart.

Ya..but 3B was so thin I had to nab someone with a little pop...Davis was gone and so was most of the power....I was on Aramis at the end of th3 3rd.....but he went in the 2nd.....That's why I reached a couple of times...weird draft....Cruz went in the 7th as an example
