hi, im in a mixed league h2h 16 teams.. i had the 2nd slot in the draft and i managed to pick Arod in the 2nd round 31st overall (i grabbed pujols in the 1st round) and i also got alex gordon late in the draft i dont remember which round it was, but anyway this fellow gm is offering to send me Bedard and chipper jones for Arod. Now normally i wouldnt even think about this trade but considering i am expecting a huge season out of Bedard combined with the fact that my pitching staff is good but not great i have been thinking about accepting this trade, the only problem is chipper... i know hes the batting champ but im not really sold on him because of his injury history and hes not getting younger, i would like for you guys to please help me out on this one, what are your opinions on this trade? should i go ahead and do it?

If you're really that sold on Bedard, I think you should do it. You definitely need the pitching, and Chipper would be a great consolation for A-Rod if you ask me.

However, it is a 16 team keeper. I agree with the Dude below me your staff isn't that bad for a 16 team league.

in a 16 team h2h league you cannot do this trade. Arod will be back at the end of the season and for the playoffs. Chipper has to slow down one of these years. If you lie Bedard then you should try and trade for him, but you should never give up value like that just to accomidate the guys you have a man-crush on. Hold onto A-rod, your pitching staff really isnt that bad for a 16 league team at all.

I gotta agree. Having Pujols and Arod in 1 16 team H2H league is rediculous. I think with good WW scouring during the regular season, you could easily make the playoffs, when Arods value will be the highest. By playoff time, Bedard's and Chipper's teams could easily sit those guys because of nagging injuries.
