pitching to him in that spot was an incredibly dumb decision by korea. right up there with the U.S. starting jeter at SS over jimmy rollins.

good AB but the actual hit was off a grooved pitch. yeah i don't know what korea was thinking, but it might have to do with the backup catcher they put in the game late.

They did beat Mexico in the first game, but then the Aussies lost to Mexico 16-1 in the elimination game.
