My own initial thoughts...

I really like my hitting and think, overall, it is fairly balanced and deep.

My starting pitching is too upside-heavy. I probably need to trade for a couple second/third tier type guys, who went higher than I was willing to go in the draft... decided to let them go and build up my hitting. Same thing happened with closers, but...

Marmol and Gonzalez are pretty nice anchors in my opinion, and I trust my waiver vulture abilities enough to find a couple more decent closers over the season...

Besides Johan not much experience in your pitching, but can't see anyone you could sacrifice for a good SP

Pretty solid possible playoff contender

I'm thinking of doing something like A-Gon/Quentin for Teixeira/James Shields... How does that sound?

That would work, and you should drop Hughes I don't think he will ever get a chance while he is Yankee, for another solid bench OF

I was going to drop Gaby Sanchez for Ken Griffey, Jr. if I deal Quentin. I know, I know, it's Griffey, but he's probably the only person on waivers right now that has the potential to hit 30 home runs. It's worth a flier. Last I heard, Hughes is next in line if a Yankee starter goes down, which certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility... I wanna hang on to him for the first few weeks of the season and see what happens, but yeah, either he or Sanchez would be first to go.

Thanks for replying to mine. I am a little unfamiliar with the setup of your league, so that really hurts my ability to give a thorough analysis of your team, but I will try. I think, like someone else said, that your SP is a bit of a question mark. They have the ability to be world-beaters, but if Price or Volquez struggle in their sophomore seasons, then it could be a long year.

I like your lineup a good bit. It has depth and a lot of speed. I think you might be lacking a bit in power, but other than that, it's pretty good.

I usually like to give longer, more detailed messages, but I am just unfamiliar with your league setup. Once again, thanks for help with mine.

I think you have a pretty good outlook of your team. Definitely use your wire vulture abilities to land another solid SP. You know how it goes...someone always gets too impatient and drops a proven guy too soon. Just make sure you recognize it when it happens and grab him before anyone else. Any trade opportunities you can see to get a more established starter?

I drafted Marmol as one of my closers but just picked up Gregg in case he wins that job. I thought the competition was a formality with Marmol as the clear choice up until a couple days ago but now I'm not so sure. You might want to drop Hughes or someone for Gregg as insurance.

Your offense looks to be in pretty good shape but I'm not sure what the latest on Mauer is. Your situation at 3B is decent as long as Encarnacion's injury is very minor. Don't love Young at SS but you could do worse.

Good luck.

I agree with the assessment about your pitching staff but I don't really see much you can do. Looks like your league is too deep for their to be any solid contributing hitters to fill gaps so I think I would probably roll the dice and go with what you got. The only other issue I see is average. Hopefully Mauer stays healthy and Holliday hits well.

I'd say keep an eye on the waiver wire for closers if one of your guys loses the job and also for starting pitching and pray that your young guys do well.
