Postby noles1 » Mon Mar 23, 2009 11:59 pm

I just finished my draft in a 10 team H2H league. I had the 6th pick. We start 7 pitchers per week (that includes closers). Not sure if I like my team, but here it is.

SP: Javier Vasquez
SP: Scott Baker
SP: Hiroki Kuroda
SP: Brad Penny
SP: Kevin Slowley
RP: BJ Ryan
RP: Huston Street

Brandon Inge in a 10 teamer? Yuck. I know he plays everyday, but that's only great when the guy hits above the Mendoza line %-6
Also Delmon Young is guaranteed full PT so starting him as your Utility player is a bit of a risk. You really loaded up on pitching, but you should really consider finding an upgrade over Delmon Young.

Thanks for the input. I picked up Inge as a flyer, and I am hoping Young will bounce back this year. He has potential. I bench him and play Jorge Cantu at utility. Or here is who is on the wire:

Nick Swisher
Jeff Francoeur
Kevin Kouzmanoff
Casey Kotchman
Casy Blake
Coco Crips
Xavier Nady
Jack Cust
Paul Kornerko
Travis Hafner
Nick Johnson
Hank Blalock
Eric Byrnes
Ken Griffey

Catchers on the wire
AJ Pierzynski
Kurt Suzuki
Ramon Hernandez
Kelly Shoppach
Jason Kendall
Yadier Molina
Gerald Laird
Chris Snyder
Rod Barajas
Matt Wieters
Ivan Rodriguez
John Baker
Mike Napoli
Jason Varitek
Jarrod Saltalamacchia

yes Inge at catching is horrendous, Suzuki and Baker are sleepers and Weiters will be a stud, drop Inge for Suzuki and Kuroda for Weiters
