Is Chad Cordero worth a stash? WHIR

Postby NittanyLions1 » Mon Mar 23, 2009 11:45 pm

14-team head-to-head POINTS (not Categories) league. Is Chad Cordero worth a minors stash (He is minors eligible right now in my league). Seems like he could be back fairly early in the season no?? I would be dropping either Brett Cecil or David Huff (which one would you drop if it is?). THANKS

WE START 14 PITCHERS
MY CURRENT STAFF: Gallardo, Kershaw, Slowey, Kuroda, Parra, Bonderman, JO Sanchez, A Sanchez, Marshall, Perkins, Fuentes, Lyon, Hanrahan, Nunez
DL: K Escobar
MInors: Cecil, Huff (DROP ONE FOR CORDERO??)

Nope. Not worth it since both of those minor leaguers will probably see time in the Bigs this year.

its real bad over there. I say pass on CC. Mark Lowe or David Aardsma will get the gig but would you even want them?

Cordero was worthwile with the Nationals. Just like Soria is worthwhile with the Royals. Yes Soria is more dominant but Cordero aint bad.

ANOTHER QUESTION: Anybody have a guess if he will be on the DL eventually or will they just keep him assigned to the minors for his rehab? If he is DL eligible soon I could just wait for that to happen and then slot him there if he is still available (We have 3 DL slots).

Thanks so far everyone
