Well that isn't new...

But I really don't understand why they had to add Steve Phillips to this broadcasting crew. It just makes it that much worse.

hahaha THIS is why no one watches the WBC. at least during the season you only have to deal with these guys on sundays

Well I was watching the games on ESPN Deportes for a week while I was in Mexico, so I didn't have to deal with these guys. A lot of people actually cared about it down there, even when Mexico was eliminated.

i've watched every game that i could so far. we lost our direct tv because we didnt pay the bill soon enough, so i missed that last couple games on the mlb network...but other than that i love this. i think the classic is great. it really puts into perspective how far along international baseball is and how much it is growing. to hear the different stories about each team... like cuba for example: their meal money for the WBC is more than they make ALL year playing pro ball in cuba. and the koreans don't have to serve in the military because they won the gold medal in the olympics..its awesome. its nice to see that the GAME of baseball is still enjoyed and it is not so much a business in other parts of the world as it is in the US
