Gil Meche
entering his prime as the #2 starter, solid numbers in the AL
last year he was 5th in Ks, 7th in IP, and 8th in Ks/IP
throw out his horrible April and he's a Cy Young candidate

i feel you. but the bats man, the bats! terrible.... no run support, IMO. but i like his K's and work, like you mentioned. thanks!

Yeah and Atlanta is just an offensive powerhouse. You don't chase wins. You chose pitchers based on their ability. If Meche pitches the way he can, he will get 15+ wins.
