Are My Rules Okay?

Me and my friend decided to get together and run a team in an acquaintances fantasy baseball league. Neither of us have ever done this before, and it seems that baseball is about 600x more complicating than football. I've been reading this forum for a few weeks now, and hopefully, I'm retaining some things.

I was just wondering if some of you guys could give me some input as to whether my leagues rules seem legit or not. Also, I feel like the 'constitution' of our league is lacking some crucial information that I may not even know I'm missing. Is there anything important I should be asking my commissioner before we draft next week?

CBS league, 18 teams, we can keep anywhere from 18-28 players per roster at any time, $325 salary cap, auction draft w/keepers.
start: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3 OF's, DH, 4 SP's, RP

Scoring for Batting Categories
1B - Singles 1 point
2B - Doubles 2 points
3B - Triples 3 points
BB - Walks (Batters) 1 point
CS - Caught Stealing -2 points
CSC - Caught Stealing by Catcher 1 point
CYC - Hitting for the Cycle 15 points
E - Errors -1 point
HP - Hit by Pitch 1 point
HR - Home Runs 4 points
OFAST - OF Assists 1 point
PBC - Passed Balls by Catcher -1 point
R - Runs 1 point
RBI - Runs Batted In 1 point
SB - Stolen Bases 2 points

BBI - Walks Issued (Pitchers) -1 point
BS - Blown Saves -3 points
CG - Complete Games 3 points
ER - Earned Runs -1 point
HB - Hit Batsmen -1 point
INN - Innings 1 point
K - Strikeouts (Pitcher) 1 point
L - Losses -6 points
NH - No-Hitters 15 points
PG - Perfect Games 25 points
PKO - Pick Offs 1 point
S - Saves 3 points
SO - Shutouts 10 points
W - Wins 6 points

Your points and keeper amounts probably make it more complicated that it could be......................if this is the first year that you and your friends are doing this, I would suggest a redraft league instead of a keeper, this way you don't have to replace 10 owners who don't like it after their first year.

no, this league has been going for like 7 years now. its just mine and my friends first time getting into it. we inherited 4 keepers (Alex Rios, Carlos Delgado, Justin Upton, and Yunel Escobar). They've been doing keepers for a few years i believe.

Two things.

1) Way too many keepers.
2) What are your keeper escalators? I.e., how much do they go up by every year?

Can't comment on the points settings; don't do it so don't really know.

the keepers are like a contract system. you can sign guys for either 1, 2, or 3 year contracts. and they're value escalates by $5 every year.
