Erik Bedard or Matt LaPorta in a Dynasty League? WHIR!

Hi,

I am re posting this question hoping to get a better response this time. I am in a 16 team Dynasty League. I have been offered Matt Laporta for Erik Bedard. Which would you rather own in a Dynasty League? Also keep in mind that I am hoping to win this year and for the future, as I am a 2-time league champ.

My current SP's are: CC, Liriano, Verlander, Bedard, Kazmir, Gallardo, Lannan, Ballester, Pedro, Porcello, Arrieta, Matusz, Tillman, and Westbrook.

My OF consists of Manny, Sizemore, Markakis, and Milledge. Milledge is my Util at the moment.


Do I have enough SP to survive until Laporta makes it to the majors or should I keep Bedard?

depends on how long you can wait.

Bedard will give you mediocre results for now, could go up, could go down.

LaPorta won't be in the bigs til July and will give you almost nothing for 2 years. But the hope is that he will hit about .285, 25-30 HR and 100 rbis a year for 10 years.
