Hey everyone I'm in a 10-team H2H keeper league (a bit emphasis on power for hitters but close to 5x5). Here's my team:

Any of these guys should be on my team? I've thought about Motte since he's been looking good and having a backup for Devine in case he shares saves (I'd probably drop Tejada). Our league works by potentially replacing two keepers each year so that's why I have quite a few of the young guys on the bench (I definitely have a younger team this year). Thanks for any help!

i do like motte as well, though i would drop phil hughes...just not a believer in him is all (plus tejada provides some power which you said has a bit of an edge, so he could prove solid trade bait to a weak SS team)

I too like Motte and am not wild about Hughes at the moment ... Motte should be good and get some saves with that solid Cards team.

I like Motte a lot more than any of your bench guys.

in fact, I'd throw back your entire bench (except for Scherzer) and pick up:

Motte
Beltre/Lowell/Mora (pick 1)
Hideki Matsui
Drew/Crisp (pick 1)
Carmona/Ziegler (pick 1)

Nice, balanced team with some good star power and players on the upswing!

I agree about dropping Hughes for Motte, as the latter's k/9 is too good to pass up, he should step in and be awesome right away... I might also drop Tejada for Beltre. If Beltre gets traded, his year will be even better in my opinion.
