10 teams 5x5 H2H

Sp Rich Harden
Sp Scott Kazmir
Rp B.J. Ryan

So this guy has been trying to upgrade his outfield, and i have been trying to upgrade my sp. i'm really not too worried about RP, cause percival, and tons of closers are still out there. but i give up vladdy, buerhle, and capps, and get back pence and halladay

This is an unquestionable, 100%, sure-fire YES! You have Harden and Kazmir listed as your top-2 SPs. Neither is expected to throw a full season, and both have issues with throwing 90-100+ pitches in 5 innings of work, though both can K a lot of guys. But Vlad's dipped a bit, and I don't think he's going to get better without moving to DH, so I don't see Pence as that much of a downgrade. Halladay is over Buehrle without a thought, and Capps is the closer on...the Pirates. They don't figure to exactly give him a ton of save opps, so he's not that big of a deal. Don't look back, don't think twice. DO IT.

I totally agree -- the upside you take on with Pence and Halladay is unparalleled in this deal. Plus, Vladdy is more prone to injury these days and closers can change mid season.

thanks for replying to mine.

Bringing Halladay aboard to anchor your SP staff is going to be a devastating blow to all the other GMs in your league.

Giving up Vlad hurts but if you want something, you need to give something.
