The draft was very weird, I think a lot of guys were unprepared. There were so many great value picks that I couldn't resist. So I wound up with 6 outfielders in the first 11 rounds and by some freak occurrence got Wieters at pick #187. My closers are lacking definitely. I could also spare some speed for power I think. Planning to drop Hafner for Konerko as soon as waivers clear.
First of all you drafted two of my favorite fantasy players....Aramis Ramirez and Roy Halladay, so kudos for that lol. Your team is very very solid, my only suggestion would be to trade Matt Holliday by himself, or package him with another player. He is not going to have a terrific year playing in Oakland and I might try and dump him while there is still some hype around his numbers from his Colorado years.

wow someone else who agrees with me on Matt Holiday 2009 Predictions .280 25-28hrs 90 RBI'a and 10 SB's good stats but overvalued, could get a closer like Papelbon, K-Rod or Nathan for him, which stabilizes your RP Nalong with Capps, I would drop Perez, for another bench OF and move Hart in the starting OF and Dukes to UTIL.
I think Holliday deserves alittle more respect than he gets, especially where you got him. I also like getting Sizemore and Kinsler with the first 2 picks, that is awesome! I would maybe look to add another #1 or #2 quality SP if you do look to make a trade, with your spare OFs.
Great looking team. Amazing value with Halladay in the 5th and Greinke in the 13th. Holliday in the 3rd could be a steal too. Remember when Soriano moved to Washington? Same thing could happen with Holliday. You've got a ton of speed, if i were you I would hope Ellsbury started off hot then trade him for a stud closer.
Dont trade Holliday, I don't care what these clowns say. Your team is absolutely loaded and I think the best pick of your draft was getting Sandoval in the 24th, that is nasty. I think your obvious problem area is saves, so do what you can to get some saves,,but don't let Holliday be involved in any trades whatsoever.
I agree completely. Holliday may not quite live up to Colorado but the thin air won't affect his 25 steal potential. For him to drop to the 10th-15th best outfielder from 5 or 6 is ridiculous. Get saves another way. You got tremendous value with that pick as well as Weiters and Halladay.
"buck foston" says he wouldn't trade Holliday, if you could get Beltran or Carlos Lee you still wouldn't trade him? In my opinion Hollidays value is as high as it is going to get right now, i'm not saying it would happen but if I could land beltran or Lee I would do it in a heartbeat.
