Need a 6th pitching stat!!!

I'm the commish of a 6x6 roto league. Each team has a 25 man roster (12 position players, 4SP, 3RP, 2P and 4 bench players).

Right now, we are using W, CG, ERA, K, S, WHIP. I want to replace CG with another stat, preferably one that favors/applies to starters (I don't want managers to rely on RP that do well in WHIP, ERA and S categories). I am open to all suggestions, even if it means changing other stats.

I like to use Holds, but since you want a Starter stat, how about Quality Starts?

I like QS as a category. But do do you see an issue with having both W and QS?

I was thinking of replacing W with QS and replacing CG with Losses.

QS is a good one you don't need a win to qualify for that just 6 innings and 3 ER or less, that is probably would be the best Starter based category, and other like losses, holds, even walks would favor RP, but I know what you are saying in this day and age CG are few and far between, losses detract points and then you get those hard luck starters that get loses due to no run support

QS if you want it for SPs

if you already have the ability to start 5 RPs (3RP + 2P) though maybe want to consider holds at some point if you change your mind on it!

I like using Inning Pitched. It creates incentive to use starters but doesn't completely devalue quality relievers who get frequently used.

I like that idea as well. My league uses W's and L's, but QS won't apply to RP's, which you said you wanted, and L's do apply to them. IP isn't a bad idea either.
