Where to draft Weiters...WHIR

I'm in a 12 team keeper league (we only keep 7) and I have the last pick in the 1st round, as well as the 1st and 4th picks in round 2 (picks 12, 13 and 16).

My keepers are:

1b - Tex
ss - Reyes
3b - Aramis
of - Sizemore
of - Bruce
1b/3b - Davis
p - Hamels

Should I target Weiters with on of my first 2 picks? I know he'll start the year in AAA but he'll be up like Longoria and should be gold in a keeper league. This all assumes that he makes it through the 1st round. I'm also intruged by Bedard or Vazquez with maybe my 3rd pick. A healthy bedard is a fantasy stud. Any thoughts?

I would try to grab him with one of those 3 picks. Do you have a complete list of who might be available? It seems to me that Bedard and Vazquez can be had for a few rounds later. I would definitely try to grab a pitcher with one of those first 3 picks since Hamels seems to be a little bit of a question mark with his injury scare.

I absolutely love getting Bedard in your top 3 picks of a keeper league... agreed, when healthy is a fantasy stud... and Weiters, I agree also is gold in this format, grab him also in your first 3 picks... please help...

well, I was able to grab Weiters with one of my first picks but Bedard went earlier than expected. Othewise, I think I did ok. Not real thrilled about my staff, but if they stay healthy I'll be fine. I have #1 Waiver priority and I expect someone to make a dumb move early in the season as well. I know Price is going to AAA to start the season, but I nabbed him in the 19th round! What do you think?
