Well we get another S. Korea Vs. Japan game :-/

Honestly not that surprised with the US not making the finals (especially since they had to play Japan in the semis)--but on the bright side at least they didn't lose to the Canadians :-B

Well a real RF catches Iwamura's triple and the final run scoring hit out there. Dunn cost the team 2-3 runs that game. Jeter's bad throw cost another run. Roberts error cost another 1-2 of the runs(though he is a real 2B at least and don't have a problem with him being out there).

The USA pitching had an ERA over 6 for the entire thing which shows me they weren't really ready, though I could have told you that just watching the pitchers pitch.

Until the USA commits itself to putting a real team out there I don't think they have much chance of winning this thing. Hopefully next time we take it a bit more seriously.

I am cheering for Korea tomorrow. I hope their lineup of Lee, Lee, Lee, Kim, Lee, Kim, Lee and Lee destroys Japan! heh.

I hope Bum Ho and Suk-kim have good games tomorrow so I can have a good laugh.
Dice-K and Darvish will probably pitch the majority of the game for Japan (I am expecting Dice-K to back up in relief).

Will be a good one, and I hope they randomly show Jeter a few more times just to rub it in that he sucks :-D

Hmmmm, could Dice-K possibly relieve himself? (not in the urination sorta way)

If anyone could figure it out, the japanese can!

"Any pitcher who makes 30 or more pitches in a game is ineligible to pitch on the following day. As the Finals are played over three consecutive days, a so-called "pitcher rest equalization" rule has been added: a pitcher making 30 or more pitches in a Semifinal is ineligible to pitch in the Final."

So Dice-K won't be able to pitch. I don't know if Darvish threw 30 or not.
