mark derosa is the 1B and japan i believe lost their top hitter to injury.

hopefully, the us wins this one, if for no other reason than to drum up some more stateside enthusiasm about the classic. plus, i don't need to watch korea play japan for the ten millionth time.

9:30 on a weekday? It's like they don't want anyone on the East Coast watching the game.

Rollins DHing and Jeter at SS = bad managing obviously.

DeRosa makes sense though. I think only he and Dunn have experience at 1B and Dunn looked completely lost over there in the last game.

still a good throw, just not a 1B playing 1B today(or a RF playing RF, or a LF playing LF today) Brian Roberts also looks bad this inning. This is some pathetic display of defense when we have to compliment DeRosa for doing basic things 1B does.

ps: why couldn't we play Rollins at 2nd?
