Did I screw myself

10 Team H2H points league.....

I used a risky startegy in the draft....When I got to the 5th round and saw all the big name pitchers gone I took the best player at thin positions like Vidro Renteria Matsui...My offense is loaded as far as I am concerned and I am not worried about that....The problem is the people who have the pitchers wont trade......One guy has Relaford at 2nd another has Rollins at SS......These guys dont even belong on a 10 team H2H roster let alone starting on one....As you can see,other than my closers, my pitching is real bad.....Right now I think I will be forced to go with 4 closers and rotate 3 guys in and out who have 2 starts.....What do you guys think of all this??Will these other teams owners come around to trading when they see how bad there offense is??What chances do I have using the strategy I just mentioned to go along with a high powered offense???Thanks for the input!!!!

Your Pitching really sucks (well your SPs your Rps are just fine)... Isn't there anyone better???... try to search on the FA for the likes of E Milton, E Jackson, T Armas Jr, J Contreras, J Lieber, B Lawrence, etc....

If this is 10 team league there should be pleny of decent pitching on the FA (at least to help you out while you work a trade out). Look around for something to replace Lilly and Peavy and you should be fine.

What round did Nomar go? In most leagues nomar goes in the 2nd round even in 10 team leagues.

I took Beltran with 6th pick and Nomar with 3 pick in 2nd round....All top pitchers were gone by round 5

FYI....Schilling went 2nd OVERALL!!!!!

I couldnt believe it...I thought I didnt read the rules and the scoring was more favored to pitchers....

Schilling Prior Gagne went in round 1
Unit Wood Vazquez Pedro in round 2
Wagner Oswalt Halladay in round 3
Foulke Zito Smoltz in 4
Mussina Mulder Schmidt in 5

So in the 6th I took Rivera cause he was pretty much the best available.....


It was the craziest draft I have ever done....And I play with these guys every year...It was like half the league went with the same strategy.....
