First Round

Postby contois » Sat Mar 21, 2009 6:21 pm

I am in a 14 team 6x6 Head to Head league. Categories are:

Avg, HR, RBI, Runs, SB, OBP

W, ERA, Saves, WHIP, Holds, K

From last year I held onto Longoria, Texiera, Lincecum, and Carlos Lee.

I have 2nd overall pick, and Hanley is going first overall. I feel like I should draft a short stop because they are hard to come by. I like Jose Reyes in a ROTO league, but is he worth it in H2H? Is #2 overall too early to draft Rollins? Last year was the first year of this league, so there were restrictions on Keepers. We could not hold on to any player drafted in last years first round. Any advice on who my best option would be at second overall would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

I'd go Reyes or Wright, I know you have Longoria but you have a utility spot(I assume) and 3B is the weakest postition, you could use one of them later and get a nice trade package in return. There are more mid round SS than 5 category 3B. Both are weak positions but you may be able to get a Hardy, Tulo, Young, Drew pick later in your draft...
