Too risky to take A-Rod at #11 overall??

Postby DetroitTigers » Sat Mar 21, 2009 5:41 pm

I have the 10th and 11th pick tomorrow in my 5X5 10 team league. I thought about taking A-Rod with one of these picks because i know i probably won't get him at the end of the 3rd round. Am i crazy??

You want him with your 3rd pick, if you don't get him - so what.

I took him in the third round, I just couldn't past up the chance to have him and Pujols on the same team. I think pretty much he is a 3 to 6 round guy depending on how the draft is going.

Even in round 3 it is too much imo. A guy that misses at least a month and who will not be 100% upon returning is not worth spending big on. Let somone else take on the risk and pick a solid round 3 stick.

Don't pick him that early. He will go somewhere in rounds 3 through 5. If he is there for you then then I say grab him but other than that he isnt worth taking a chance on so early in the draft.

please help

at this point there are better options, plus he might have issues all season whne he comes back with his hip not to mention the flak he will get at every stadium besides yankee stadium, this year for being a cheater, he does have a fragile ego.

help with mine?
