For some reason our league starts (2) catchers.. There are 12 teams in the league and I had the 6th pick. I'll start with my starters
C - Russell Martin C - Chris Snyder 1B -Joey Votto 2B - Chase Utley SS - Jhonny Peralta 3B - Chris Davis MI - Jose Lopez CI - Edwin Encarnacion OF - Matt Holliday OF - Nick Markakis OF - Matt Kemp OF - Brad Hawpe DH - Denard Span
Bench - Carlos Guillen, Mike Jacobs, Chase Headley, Adam Lind
SP - Brandon Webb SP - Felix Hernandez SP - Derek Lowe SP - Zack Greinke SP - Armando Gallaraga RP - Joba Chamberlain RP - Chris Perez RP - Chad Qualls RP - Brian Wilson
Bench - Dan Wheeler, Manny Parra, Sean Marshall
What do you think? I have a lot of young guys with high ceilings, maybe too many. I should be up there in stolen bases and my team has a lot of 20-30 homerun guys. I'm worried about my starting pitching but I'm hoping to improve through waiver wire pickups and maybe trades. I didn't put much emphasis on relief pitching as I'm sure there will be pickups throughout the year. Thanks guys, I'll help you if you help me!
Starting pitching looks good, but relievers look bad, trade Joba for another good closer since he is slated at a #5 starter and won't get may innings or wins, swap Hawpe and Span positions or play Guillen at Utility, Definately drop Jacobs, you could get a aplayer with the same BA but more homers (thome, or even Hafner who actually hits better)

I would get Carlos Guillen into your starting lineup, he is a very underrated player and he is a having a great spring. Also, the starting pitching is definately a concern, i'm not sure who is available on the waiver wire/free agent pool, but check that out and make sure you aren't overlooking anyone. I don't like any pre-season trades so I would wait to see how things are going a month or 2 down the road and then make a move.
