I haven't seen any draft where he lasted until the 4th. 17th isn't too bad .

If it was OF that you were targeting, who else was available? I don't think its crazy to take him 17th but I do think he is a guy who typically flies under the radar in drafts and could easily be snagged late third round. Bottom line is if you like him more than the other OFs available and believe he won't see another round to grab him, go for it. It is not so early that it is unreasonable. at all...

ps glad you went with Utley first :)

Is Manny or Holliday a better choice over Lee?

I would take either over Lee, but all options are good. I love that Holliday is so well balanced across the board. He helps your Runs, RBI, SBs, AVG and SLG. Of course, its a question of if you believe leaving Coors Field will have a serious effect on his numbers. Personally, I don't believe it will.

And Manny was ridiculous second half of last year, I don't see that changing.

But like I said, no bad options there.

Good Luck

if carlos lee is going in the 3rd and 4th rd then it must be a 6 team league..the 17th pick is just about right for that hard hittin' horse..he would pair nicely w/utley
