Postby Tayma » Fri Mar 20, 2009 8:59 pm

So in the league that i've picked up Troy Tulo & Lastings off the Waviers a interesting name name up Matt Cain.

Do you think i should pick up Matt Cain?
if Yes who should i drop?

Scott Baker, Ted Lilly, Dempster, Bedard out of thoose Lilly is my bench spot.

Drop Bedard imo. Matt Cain could be a 15 game winner with the type of stuff he has, if he manages to have run support.

If you could look at my topic and it's now on page #2.

All of those pitchers should be owned in a 10 team league. Cain is arguably the best of the bunch so you're going to want to add him, but by dropping any of those pitchers you're leaving good value on the WW for another team to grab.

Can you post your entire roster? I think it's likely there's a better player to drop from your team.

Yeah this is pretty much what I expected to see. In leagues that small there's really no reason to carry more hitters on your bench than pitchers. In only a 10 team league with rosters that small there are always going to be capable replacements on the WW should you suffer an injury.

That being the case, I think you'd be better off dropping Choo for Cain instead of Lastings.

Agreed, Cain is better than Lastings, so drop either Choo or Lastings for him. Nice pickups, even in a small league.
