ONE HOUR TO DEADLINE - Keeper - WHIR - Please help!

Postby plapre3 » Fri Mar 20, 2009 4:17 pm

Some last minute trades have lead to a snowball effect in our league... I have some deals that seem likely to fall into place. What do you all think?

1st deal: Michael Young, Gallardo, V-Mart, and a pick (a 2nd 15th rounder obtained from another team) for Rollins, Iannetta and Ludwick/Marmol (I'd want Ludwick)?

2nd deal: Gallardo, Michael Young and a pick (a 2nd 15th rounder obtained from another team) for Rollins? (I'd then likely keep Alex Gordon or Huff - pick one?)

3rd deal: V-mart for Ludwick and a 15th round pick OR (Adding in my Vitters for Lars Anderson)

As for my keepers, I'll break them into tiers in order to sort them out. Right now I'm thinking I'll keep the 1st two tiers:
1st Tier: Johan Santana, Carlos Beltran, Corey Hart, Adam Dunn, Joe Nathan
2nd Tier: V-Mart, Joakim Soria, Yovanni Gallardo, Zach Greinke, Michael Young
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3rd Tier: Aubrey Huff, Alex Gordon

As for minor leaguers, I only get to keep 5. My thoughts are keeping them in the following order:
1) Colby Rasmus (OF-Stl)
2) Matt LaPorta (1B-Cle)
3) Neftali Feliz (SP-Tex)
4) Josh Vitters (3B-ChiNL)
5) Michael Bowden (SP-Bos)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
6) Yusmeiro Petit (SP-Ari)
6x6 weekly HtH 14 team roto keeper (between 5 and 10 keepers (no time limits or costs), losing a draft pick for each after 5)
Offensive Categories: BA, OPS, RBI, HR, SB and Runs Scored.
Pitching Categories: W, S, ERA, K/IP, Quality Starts minus Losses, and WHIP
Offensive Starters: C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, 0F, 0F, 0F, UTIL
Pitching Starters: SP, SP, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP
Bench: 10 spots
Minors: 5 "free" keepers. These players if are eligible to be kept without the loss of a draft pick and in addition to the max of 10.
Thank you all in advance and as always, leave a link.
