If Chris Davis is gone when I draft again I will reach and get Alex Gordon probably. Of KC. I went Gallardo.

Still appreciating the help. Thanks to all!

Don't just post the best players available - post the best players available on each team. For example, only Gonzalez and Peavy are fantasy worthy on the Padres.

Yeah. I'd make yourself a list of the best available players from each team and that will help you to decide which team you need to grab from earlier to not get stuck with a scrub...

So you now have

C-Brian McCann
1B-Adrian Gonzalez
2B-Alexei Ramirez
SS-Jose Reyes
OF-Grady Sizemore
OF-Matt Kemp

SP-Gallardo

Braves/Padres/White Sox/Mets/Indians/Dodgers/Brewers.

I'd put together a list of the top 5 players available on each team, so you're prepped. If 14 teams take Red Sox players, you don't have to take a Sox player til the 30th round, also, so keep an eye on that.

Your infield is almost set - if you land Davis or Gordon at 3B (preferably Davis), you're looking good. If Votto is still there, I'd take him next after that to have a future trade chip - there really are only a handful of top notch fantasy players on each team, and you guys are going to end up drafting 15 on EACH team.

Thanks for those two ideas. That helps me a lot. I've been drafting just trying to get best players available right now. Having those 7 players in a 15-team league is pretty good. Looking at the top-5 players from each remaining teams It is clear that the Marlins, Tigers, Astros, Athletics, Pirates, Jays and Nationals all have very weak remaining players.

Diamondbacks-Chris Young, Justin Upton, Max Scherzer, Stephen Drew, Felipe Lopez
Orioles- Matt Weiters, George Sherrill, Luke Scott, Melvin Mora, Adam Jones
Red Sox-Daisuke Matsuzaka, Mike Lowell, Julio Lugo, Justin Masterson, Takashi Saito
Cubs-Derrek Lee, Carlos Marmol, Rich Harden, Mike Fontenot, Milton Bradley
Reds-Joey Votto, Jay Bruce, Francisco Cordero, Aaron Harang, Willy Taveras,
Rockies-Garrett Atkins, Troy Tulowitzki, Brad Hawpe, Chris Iannetta,Huston Street
Tigers-Placido Polanco, Justin Verlander, Jeremy Bondermon, Fernando Rodney, Brandon Inge
Marlins-Josh Johnson, Cameron Maybin, Jorge Cantu, Matt Lindstrom, Chris Volstad
Royals-Zach Greinki, Alex Gordon, Gil Meche, Coco Crisp, Jose Guillen
Astros-Hunter Pence, Miguel Tejada, Wandy Rodriguez, Kaz Matsui, Michael Bourn
Angels-Chone Figgins, Brien Fuentes, Howie Kendrick, Mike Napoli, Jared Weaver
Twins-Joe Mauer, Scott Baker, Kevin Slowey, Delmon Young, Carlos Gomez
Yankees-Joba Chamberlain, Xavier Nady, Hideki Matsui, Andy Pettite, Nick Swisher
Athletics-Joey Devine, Orlando Cabrera, Brad Zeigler, Mark Ellis, Jason Giambi
Phillies-Brad Lidge, Raul Ibanez, Jayson Werth, Brett Myers, Jamie Moyer

My input: Pass on the Cards for now, see if you can get Jason Motte in a later round. Wainwright and Ankiel aren't worth reaching for. Ditto Blue Jays and Snider, Nationals and Milledge/Hanrahan. Ditto Pirates and Andy LaRoche, Rays and Percival.

My targets would be 1) Davis, 2) Votto, 3) Chamberlain, 4) Pence (Bourn in a later round if not available), 5) Adam Jones (Wieters if a keeper league), 6) Matsuzaka, 7) Cameron Maybin, 8) Justin Upton

Don't forget Kevin Gregg - he might win the closer job for the Cubs. I'd stay away from the 'closers that haven't won jobs yet'.

There are several teams that, if they lose their best player, you should just knock them to your last few rounds and grab a prospect (Cardinals/Rasmus, etc.), as they have nobody worth reaching for.

James Shields just got dropped off a team that drafted two TB players.

I'm on my next pick now and want to know should I go Shields or Chris Davis who is still available?
