how'd i do/where to improve

just finished my draft for a 12 team H2H standard league. i drafted twelve.

if ya got any thoughts on how i did in my draft and/or how to improve my team.

1. kinsler - happy enough to get 2B and SS covered in the first two picks
2. rollins -

3. hamels- was thinking two was better than one
4. webb-

5. soto- too early for soto???
6. rivera-

7. v. martinez- 1B eligble, and can really max out catcher position
8. garrett atkins-

9. jay bruce- not too bad for my first two OFs
10. torii hunter-

11. carlos guillen- round 11 for gullien? both are multi-pos
12. mike aviles-

13. denard span- hopefully he leads-off all year
14. scott baker- happy with baker here

15. heath bell- again, two was better than one
16. chad qualls-

17. willy taveras- good speed for H2H
18. john smoltz- take a chance??

19. mike lowell- well happy with lowell here
20. justin masterson- upside

21. michael bourn- steals

overall i am fairly happy, maybe lite with HR/RBIs but happy everywhere else. need another SP, but smoltz should start on the DL so i can pick one up then....

obviously you need another starting pitcher, Smoltz won't start until June/ late May. The rest of the team looks good, especially your bullpen, Masterson is a great sleeper. Your outfield is a little lacking, besides from that it looks good. You might want to get one more guy for power, maybe just a DH.

your draft isn't bad, even though it's pretty unconventional.

your middle infield is very good, and atkins at 3rd is very solid.

you do need more power, especially because jay bruce is no sure thing and hunter isn't coming off a great year.

I'd suggest trading either Soto or Vmart for big bat firstbaseman. Maybe someone like Dunn if you can stomach the hit in average (and you can pull the trade off). Vmart isn't going to be sufficient for you at 1st.
Also, someone like Chris Davis could potentially be a great asset for this team.

Anyway, you've certainly got speed covered. but you really need some more homeruns. Also, i wouldn't count on masterson to be much of an asset, since he'll likely be in the bullpen for most of the year, and not closing.

Hamels injury scares me right off the bat he threw the 2nd most pitches last year. I probably woulda waited a little later for a catcher depends if there was a run on them. I am also not a fan of drafting a RP that early either.... Got good value with Atkins and Lowell though... Overall not bad draft pitching is a little weak after the 1st 2 pitchers...
