3B Mark Reynolds
SS Troy Tulowitzki
OF Bobby Abreu
OF Andre Ethier
OF Nelson Cruz
OF Jayson Werth

Coco Crisp
Matt Wieters
Justin Upton
Cameron Maybin

I wouldn't (And this is coming from a Mets fan!). I think Murphy could be better than a bunch of those guys, but I think the safe bet for now is to stay with what you have and just keep a close eye on him in the early part of the year. Plus, considering the Mets and your interest to plan for 2010, who knows what Murphy's role will be in 2010. I have heard that he could be taking over at 1st base next year after Delgado is gone, meanwhile there is always the outside possibility that he goes to second base (where he played a good deal in the minors, along with 3B), which I guess would be great for fantasy value.
Point is I think it is still too early to say he will be better than any of your other options. MAYBE if you are really sure you are only interested in building for the future I would drop Crisp for him, as I don't see Crisp having too much potential in the future of your team, but that is it I think.

I agree -- and that is not a bad team -- just maybe a bit short by one good power bat, but a good mix of talent and future potential.
Only Crisp could warrant the move, and I am not sold because Crisp does have some speed. But if you need more production then perhaps Crisp is the one to go.
help?
