8x7 roto league
11 keepers
$1,000 salary cap
Here are my protects thus far:
Beltran
Berkman
Fielder
Granderson
C. Hart
C. Davis
Youkilis
Lincecum
Josh Johnson
Billingsley
So, it's come down to protecting one of the following three:
Soria $30
Hardy $4
C. Carpenter $11
I don't normally like protecting closers, but Soria will go for $50+ and his stats are so solid.
Hardy will also go for a lot more...but his inconsistency can be bothersome. He's a great 2nd half player.
Carpenter....we know his injury history. I drafted him last year for a low salary. Is this spring training an aberration? He could be a top 15-20 starter.
THANKS!

I'd go with Hardy @ $4. Hopefully, he stays in the 2 spot in the order all season and excels. I'm sure there will be plenty of cheaper closer options for you...maybe someone like Qualls who I think will emerge this season.

you'll have an easier time finding cheaper saves than you will finding a cheaper SS with his upside. Hardy is you man. Carpenter is sexy, but the price tag is still a little too high.... see if you can get him back. The worst you could do is bid him back up to $11.

Here's to you, Mr. Robinson. Jesus loves you more than you Cano.

It would be wise to list your current keepers salaries.

Definately Hardy you could get 3 decent closers for the value of Soria
