anyone picking up pedro? He's available in my league and I'm thinking about it. What do people expect from him?

How many teams in your league? I wont touch him until he shows he can pitch in the biggs instead of the wbc.

His velocity is down and he will be a 5th starter at best. Possibly a set up man moving into closer. Not much value until he proves himself again outside of the WBC.

I wouldn't touch him right now, but perhaps that is the met fan in me talking. He looked good enough in Spring last year and then he is down before the second game of the year is complete.

I thought his velocity was slightly up from what it was last year (he hit 91 on the gun against Ndlands, right?), but I don't think that is a good enough reason to take him. Also, I also don't see how he could end up in a pen anywhere after looking at his stats for the first few innings of games from last year (abysmal). My guess is he ends up the 5th starter for, say, the Dodgers since I heard they were interested, but I would definitely hold off on dropping anyone for him.

Good Luck
