Based on roto 5x5 categories (W, ERA, WHIP, K), how would you project the 2009 season for the following players?:

A.Harang:

J.Cueto:

Cl.Lee:

J.Chamberlain:

Last year I kept Harang @ $1, drafted Chamberlain @ $9, and picked up Cueto and Lee out of the free agent pool @ $5 each. I plan on keeping all four going into this season, but Harang is on a new contract @ $5 (I waived him last year, and picked him up again during the last week of the season.).

Here's my projections:

A.Harang: 13, 4.02, 1.27, 165 (IP - 190)

J.Cueto: 12, 3.98, 1.30, 185 (IP - 185)

Cl.Lee: 16, 3.60, 1.21, 150 (IP - 205)

J.Chamberlain: 12, 3.35, 1.16, 175 (IP - 170)

First, I would suggest you trade Lee right now. His value is still very high and you can capitalize on this. Sell high now! Consider the fact of how many innings he pitched last year, he is getting rocked in spring training, and age I highly doubt he wins 16 games. The smart play is to always sell high and buy low.

I like Harang to have somewhat of a turnaround but if you are thinking he will recapture the magic I am going to have to disagree. I rate him at 12 Wins with about a 4.10 ERA and similar Whip

I look for Cueto to have a breakout year. I think your stats re in line BUT if Cincy is able to give him run support he can win 14 games

Joba- First let me say that I hate the Yanks as a Mets and Red Sox fan so I have no bias here. He is a potential fantasy stud that has the potential to put up elite numbers. I figure he will pitch about 165 innings and throw at least 165 K's. I am looking for an ERA under 3.3 with and insane whip of 1.12. I think he goes 15 wins easily. Now I have heard some concerns due to the fact that he will only pitch 165 innings. This is a bonus in my opinion. He will throw 6 innings and hand the ball off to probably one of the best bullpens in baseball. Therefore he will not sacrifice wins normally blown by crappy closers. Plus the Skankees have an elite offense that will put up tons of run support.

See if you can trade Lee for Sheilds. Maybe the guy can be suckered into a 2 for 2 where he values Lee so much that he upgrades you at another position
